I was sitting at my computer one afternoon checking my e-mail when I had a sudden urge to start writing another book. I had been thinking about creating my own Tarot deck accompanied by a how-to-read-them book. My thoughts were invaded by a new consciousness, a Guide with whom I was not familiar.

Let's start with something simple, he suggested. We can write a book teaching people how to read regular playing cards. I will give you the information and you will type it.

This was my introduction to Hawley. He went on to inform me that we will be writing at least eight books together. It was the beginning of what has turned into a wonderful and enlightening relationship.

To keep it simple we have devised a layout using only eleven cards. Eleven is a Master Number in numerology. Hawley felt this was appropriate.

Michael (my computer genius whom I would be lost without) has developed a program which emulates the reading of the playing cards as explained in the book.
